  1. The ASTARTE MPEG Plugin 1.0
  2.  
  3. The ASTARTE MPEG Plugin is an export module for Adobe Premiere™
  4.  
  5. Systemrequirements:
  6. - An Apple Power Macintosh of Compatible (no 68K machines)
  7. - System 7.5 or later
  8. - QuickTime 2.5 or later
  9. - Adobe Premier Version 4.2.1 or later
  10.  
  11. Installation
  12. Drag the ASTARTE MPEG Plugin into the Adobe Premiere Plug-In
  13. folder and restart Adobe Premiere. The ASTARTE MPEG Plugin is
  14. now available in the menus File->Export->MPEG.
  15.  
  16. Procedure:
  17. - open Adobe Premiere
  18.  
  19. - Generate a new Project (A recommended starting point is 
  20.    Offline Video Tape PAL/NTSC)
  21.  
  22. - Select "Presets" from the "Make" menu and turn off the currently
  23.    selected compression type.
  24.  
  25. - Output options: Video 352x288 (PAL) 352x240(NTSC), full size
  26.    frame, Audio 44,1 kHz 16 bit stereo Blocks: 1 sec.
  27.  
  28. - Preview options: The preview window should be of the size 
  29.    selected above as otherwise scaling takes place. The values are
  30.    rounded up to the nearest value divisible by 16.
  31.  
  32. - Min: 96x96 / Max 384x288
  33.      Video 25 fps (30fps) / Effekts to disk / Full Size frame
  34.      Process at same size as above. Video Filters
  35.      Audio 44,1 kHz 16 Bit stereo Build RAM Play RAM Audio Filters
  36.  
  37. - Select "Export->MPEG" from the "File" menu
  38.  
  39. - Select the parameters relevent to the compression in the dialog
  40.  
  41. - Give your MPEG movie a name and click on SAVE
  42.  
  43. - Go to sleep - This will take a while.
  44.  
  45. You now have and ISO/IEC 11172-1 MPEG -Stream on your hard disk
  46. than can be played back from inside every program that supports 
  47. QuickTime as long as you have the QuickTime MPEG extension installed.
